Nintendo’s Pokémon series has been a staple of the gaming industry since it first launched in Japan 1996. The franchise has seen many versions, updates and remakes over the years, including Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. These two games are the latest in the series and feature a range of new elements, including an all-new feature called friendship. In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, players can check and raise a Pokemon’s friendship level to gain access to more content and special attacks.
How To Check Friendship Level
The first step for players wanting to use friendship in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is to find out how friendly their pokemon is toward them. This can be done by opening up the main menu and scrolling through the available options until you find “Friendship” or “Bond Meter”. Selecting this option will show a bar that indicates your current bond with the pokemon. The higher the bar is filled, the better your bond with that pokemon is.
You can also monitor your bond with each of your pokemon during battles, as it will display their current friendship level when you select them in battle. This will give you an idea of how close you are to unlocking new abilities or gaining access to other content as well.
Raising Friendship Level
Once you know where your bond stands with each pokemon, it’s up to you to increase it. To do this in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, players need to simply interact with their pokemon often. Talking to them frequently or playing together will gradually increase their friendship level until they become much more trusting.
Players can also feed their pokemon specific items like berries which will provide a big boost in their relationship. Keeping your team active by battling other trainers or doing puzzles together will also make them much closer
