Players have the opportunity to explore expanded customization features, including the ability to remodel villagers’ homes. Remodeling Home Exteriors
One of the major updates with the Happy Home Paradise expansion is the ability to completely redesign villager homes. Players can choose from a variety of materials, such as wood, stone, brick and more, and are given control over things like walls, roofs and windows. The exteriors of these homes can be completely altered to create unique designs that fit in with the rest of their island. With this feature, players have been able to maximize their island’s aesthetic potential.

The new DLC also offers updates on interior design within villager homes too. Players are now able customize interiors more than ever before by tailoring furniture pieces and even adding wallpaper and carpet styles in order to create a room that fits one’s style desires. In addition, villagers may now rotate furniture pieces within rooms making it easier than ever before create unique layouts.
