New Mobs

The Nether Update introduces two new mobs to the game – Piglins and Hoglins. Piglins are a hostile mob that can be found in the Nether biome. They are often encountered while hunting for resources or on guard duty near their villages. Hoglins are passive creatures that can also be found in the Nether biome. They are commonly found living in herds near lava and ready to attack if provoked. Players will need to be wary of these new creatures as they explore the Nether biome.

Players will also encounter two new variants of mobs: Zombified Piglin and Strider. Zombified Piglins are hostile variants of Piglin that spawn underwater or during thunderstorms; they wield golden swords and must be defeated if encountered.
