Today, Nintendo announced the start of its annual “Mar10 Day” sale for North America. This promotion offers up to 50% discounts on select titles in the Nintendo Switch eShop. The sales event will last from March 10 until March 16, 2021 at 11:59 PM PT.
Notable Discounts
One of the most notable discounts is on Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury which usually retails for $59.99 USD but will be discounted to $41.99 USD as part of the Mar10 Day sale. Other first-party titles such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will also be discounted by up to 40%. Third-party games such as Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered, Overcooked! All You Can Eat, and Ori and the Will of Wisps will also be discounted – some as much as 50%. Previous Successes
Nintendo has held Mar10 Day sales since 2019 with each year having more discounts and offers than before. Last year’s Mar10 Day proved to be extremely successful with a reported eight million downloads across all territories that participated in the sales event. This year is sure to perform similarly well if not better considering some of this year’s offerings include AAA titles not included in last year’s lineup.
