Pokemon Scarlet and Violet the Stony Cliff Titan is a game from the popular Pokemon series developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS platform. The game was released in 2008, and it is the fourth installment in the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl series. This game follows the adventures of an unnamed protagonist as he or she explores a brand new region called Sinnoh. In this new area, players are able to catch, train, trade, battle with wild Pokemon, compete in minigames, explore caves and other areas unique to this version of Pokemon. Gameplay
Much like its predecessors, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Stony Cliff Titan is an RPG (Role-Playing Game) which means that players control their own character which can interact with NPCs (non-player characters). Players can capture wild Pokemon in battles using specialized Poke Balls thrown at them or even recruit friends to join their team. Similarly to other games in the same franchise there are 8 gyms each with a leader that can be battled for badges needed to challenge the Elite Four at the end of the game. Players also have access to hidden items found throughout Sinnoh as well as special berries that can be used for healing purposes.

The addition of online connectivity also allows players to battle one another as well as interact over chat programs or even trade pokemon all over the world. Lastly, one of its most unique features is its incorporation of real-time clock elements into gameplay which allow items found in certain locations only during specific times (such as day
