What is Temtem?
Temtem is a creature collection and battling game from Spanish developer Crema and publisher Humble Bundle. It’s a Pokemon-style adventure where players collect monsters – called tems – and battle other trainers, level up their tems, and complete quests. Although it shares some similarities with Pokemon, it also introduces some new elements like team “positions” which are individual roles for each tem, co-op boss battles between two players, and an open world for exploration.
The game is currently available on PC via Steam Early Access whereas console versions are tentatively planned for 2021.
Why So Popular?
Temtem is becoming more popular day after day because it offers something that few other games do – an MMO Pokémon experience. It allows players to join up with friends or strangers online with up to four people in a team battle or eight people in a coordinated boss fight.
