The world of Pokemon continues to evolve and with the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, two new water-type starters, Wooper and Quagsire, have been added to the fray. While both are incredibly strong in their own right, they are also quite tricky to obtain. Fortunately, we have all the information you need to get them in no time!
Where to Find Wooper and Quagsire
Wooper and Quagsire can be found in a variety of locations around the world. In the wilds of Kanto they can be encountered in both Viridian Forest and Mt. Moon. They can also be found fishing in any body of water located near Vermillion City or Celadon City. In addition they can also be found near Cerulean Cave’s hidden lake.
In Johto they can be encountered in most areas with bodies of water; such as Lake of Rage, Union Cave, Dark Cave, or Ilex Forest. They are also quite common along Routes 32-34 but tend to appear more on rainy days. If all else fails you can always find them swimming about Route 19.
What To Do After Catching Wooper or Quagsire
Once caught a Wooper or Quagsire must still undergo some training before they’re ready for competitive play. Luckily for you there are several methods that trainers use to nurture them into powerful competitors. The first is by battling wild Pokemon often; this will allow your Wooper/Quagsire to gain experience points which will help it level up quickly.
Another way trainers strengthen their Water-types is by increasing their stats with vitamin supplementation; such as Iron or Calcium supplements which help raise specific stats like Attack or Speed respectively. Lastly
