Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are the two newest entries in the long running Pokémon franchise. These two games both continue the same amazing formula used in previous entries, but also bring some unique elements to the table. One of these new features is the ability to evolve Pokemon into evolved forms. One such evolution is Gholdengo, a powerful fire/psychic type that can be evolved from Gimmighoul.
Gimmighoul’s Evolution Requirements
Gimmighoul and Gholdengo are both fire and psychic type Pokemon, but they differ in their methods of evolution. Gimmighoul requires specific criteria in order to evolve into Gholdengo. First off, it must reach a certain level – ideally level 45 or higher – before it can evolve. It also requires a Stone Disc item, which can be found by exploring different areas of the game or bought from a Poké Mart. Finally, it needs an Evolutionary Crystal that will trigger its transformation when used on it.
In addition to these requirements, Gimmighoul needs an existing relationship with its trainer before it will respond to any of these evolution items. Such a bond can be formed by battling with it regularly and feeding it over time. Once this connection has been established, then all that remains is for the player to make sure their Pokémon has sufficient experience points and access to its necessary items before trying to trigger its transformation.
Gholdengo’s Benefits
Once Gimmighoul evolves into Gholdengo, trainers will quickly recognize all the benefits that come with this powerful evolution. Not only does its base stats increase across the board – its base HP stat rises from 95 to 115 for example – but it also gains access to valuable moves like Thunderbolt and Psychic. Not only are these strong offensive moves;
