Kirby, the pink puffball hero of Dream Land, is ready to embark on a brand-new adventure in “Kirby and the Forgotten Land”! Nintendo recently shared 34 new screenshots of this upcoming game, giving fans a glimpse into the vibrant world of Kirby. With new abilities for Kirby to learn and puzzles for him to solve, adventures are sure to abound in this exciting game.
A New Story
In “Kirby and the Forgotten Land”, Kirby has to go on a quest to unravel an ancient mystery. In order to do so, he needs to find four hidden orbs that have the power to open up an ancient door. Along his journey, he will be able to explore five different themed areas in the forgotten land. These include a tropical island with its own volcano; a haunted forest that is home to all sorts of monsters; an icy tundra; a desert full of dunes and cacti; and finally the sky ruins.
Not much else has been revealed about the story so far, but from what we can tell from these new screenshots it looks like there are plenty of interesting characters for Kirby to meet along his journey as well as dangers he must face. One screenshot shows Kirby facing off against two giant mechs while another shows him engaging a powerful foe on top of an active volcano.
New Abilities
Kirby will need more than just his signature ability (inhaling and copying enemies) if he is going to conquer this forgotten land. Luckily for him, as part of his quest he gains access to four special powers which grant him new abilities never seen before in any other Kirby games.
