Nintendo fans were delighted to hear of the new update for Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris coming to the console. The update is set to add a variety of new content and features to the game, giving fans even more reasons to dive into its world. Here are all the details and patch notes for this exciting update.
New Features
The most noteworthy addition with this update is a brand new character joining your party: Corvatz A.K.A. “Crow”. Crow will join players as an NPC, though he can be recruited temporarily by Kirito if you have sufficient trust with him and give him special items gifted from other characters. Alongside Crow, several returning characters have also been added, including Eugeo and Ronie Arabel.
The update also includes various gameplay improvements, such as adjusting enemy locations in the maps so that they can be found easier and adding crafted materials so that weapons can be upgraded more quickly. Additionally, weapon balance adjustments will make sure that all weapons are equally viable in battle while graphical updates offer improved visibility when exploring dungeons.
New Items
Players can now enjoy a suite of new items for their characters to make use of in Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris. These include consumables such as healing items, stat-boosting items and accessories that provide bonus effects when equipped such as HP boosts or item drops increased by 50%.
Perhaps most excitingly is the introduction of Sacred Arts boost scrolls – special items which grant a large boost to your Sacred Arts damage when used in combat against certain bosses or creatures throughout Asuna’s journey.
